Thanks to BS as always.

Up for grabs is a super Omega Seamaster Bond Automatic, served with a twist (or should that be shaken, not stirred?).

This is the most desirable Full Size 41mm Automatic Chronometer model, the 2532.80.00. The second '2' in the model number refers to the bezel, as this is not the standard Blue bezel (2531), but the Mirror-Polished steel version. One huge advantage is that the steel version doesn't show every little scratch like the blue option!

Most of you will know all about the Seamaster Professional, so I'll simply remark that this is the second of the Pierce Brosnan 'Bond' watches - he first wore the Quartz (2541.80) in Goldeneye, back in 1995, then later upgraded to the Automatic Chronometer version (the 2531.80) later in the series.

This is the Omega Calibre 1120, Self-Winding, Chronometer Certified, based on the ETA 2892-A2, but upgraded by Omega to 23 jewels, rhodium-plated and rated at 44 hours Power Reserve.

This is a 2006/7 issued watch. Included in the package are the following:

Outer White Box, a little tatty, and with some red dye marks from the inner box, but complete;
Inner Red Box - the leather style, that is doing the traditional 'fade and bleed' - pictures explain it best, but it's fading, and leaves a lovely red mark if you leave it on a light surface! Some transfer of colour to inner as well - again see the pictures;

Original Hang Tag, with Serial Number;
Card Wallet (in similar condition to Red Box);
Original Warranty Card, complete with Dealer Stamp/Model & Serial Numbers. Undated, but would be 2006 or 2007.
Original Chronometer Certificate - vary rare, you don't see these often - probably ordered specially by original owner?
Worldwide Service Centres Network booklet;
Operating Instructions Booklet;
Original CostCo Registration Card 'Timepiece Warranty'.

"Condition Report"

Crystal - Domed anti-reflective Sapphire Crystal is Mint, I can't see a mark on it. AR coating is immaculate.

Dial - Mint - it's an extremely deep, dark blue (looks almost black), the wavy pattern one - you know what I mean. Perfect. Superb lume on markers, no fade or discolouration.

Lume - outrageous, especially impressive considering the skeleton hands, and lasts for a good spell.

Bezel - The highly-polished steel version. Some very fine micro-scratches as you would expect, but nothing nasty or deep. Up close, the worst is probably around the '30' area, but they are only hairlines. The bevelled edge of the bezel itself appears very good, minimal shiny bits or grazes. The 'fill' in the markings is complete, without any fade or loss. Lumed 'pip' in place. Unidirectional, turns nicely with 120 ratcheted clicks.

Hands - All in super condition - the Seconds Hand tip is about as red as it gets, and the lume is still dazzling on all hands.

Case: Excellent - even with a loupe, I found it impossible to find anything worse than minor swirlies or slightly shiny edges. There are no nasty nicks or dinks.

Crown/HE Valve: Both the Crown and Helium Escape valve are perfect, with the Omega logo crisp and clear. Crown screws down to lock as it should.

Backcase - very nice, can't see a mark on it. Serial Number present and clear (80062198), dating the watch to circa 2006 or 2007.

Bracelet - currently sized to fit a wrist of 205mm (8.1"), (5.5 and 5.5 links). These usually come originally with 6.5 and 5.5, so overall it's one link short. Condition is very good indeed, some 'desk diver' swirls, but nothing worse than that. The definition between the brushed/polished tramlines is still clear. No stretching.

Clasp - Excellent, one or two very light swirls, and works perfectly, as does the Diver extension.

Running - it's an Omega Calibre 1120 Automatic, COSC Certified, and running beautifully. I got Steve Burrage (Ryte Time) to regulate this for me, and I've timed it to within COSC Specs (-6 spd) (Dec 2012). For the purposes of the sale, please consider it within +/-10 secs per day.

Paperwork - See above, and photos.

Boxes: See above, and photos.

Measurements: Width (without Crown): 41.5mm. Thickness: 11mm. Lug-to-lug: 46.5mm. Lug Width 20mm. Weight 165 grams

Other: This alternative to to the traditional blue bezel Seamaster is around 5 years old, and is in overall very nice condition. You've got the full set of Box & Papers (plus the rare COSC Certificate). The Dial and Crystal are like new, the steel bezel has some micro-scratches, but nothing nasty. The case is terrific, and the bracelet is very nice indeed, with desk diver swirls only. Recently regulated, the watch is running beautifully, with a strong reserve.

The going rate for these on the 'bay seems to hover around £1250-£1300 with a Full Set of Box & Papers. I'll put this up at an extremely reasonable £1125 - that will include Next Day RMSD for UK Buyers. Overseas will be a little extra - contact me for exact Shipping costs based on destination, as I'll use a Courier (Fed-Ex/UPS) for safer Tracked Shipping.

I've loads of Feedback on here, I'm a 'Top Rated' e-bay seller (2300+ deals, 100%, username 'goonermike'), and I've got plenty of Feedback on TZ-UK (username 'BigBird'), so there are no worries there.

I'd prefer BT, certainly for UK buyers. I can accept PayPal if absolutely necessary, or for overseas, but I cannot accept PayPal Gifts (my account just won't accept them, and I get charged even on gifts). So if you want to use PayPal, it'll be via the 'official' route, and you'll need to add 3.4% to cover Fees.

If I've missed anything, you'd like more info or pics, please feel free to PM me.

Cheers!

Mike
