I may be picking you up wrong here so apologies if that's the case and ignore the following.

However, from your question and also your thread looking for an 877a UTC kit for your UTC; if you are looking to use the link that attaches the bracelet to the clasp as the link to fit the UTC to another bracelet, I'm afraid it will not work successfully. This link is 18mm wide and you need a 19mm wide link to fit the UTC. It can be done but the gap which is left either side of the 18mm link causes the link to travel and put additional stress on the springbar.

I thought it better to post this so you have all information to hand before you spend money on a full length Fighter bracelet. You could attempt it with a Pro II from an Airwolf but I don't think the endlinks from an Airwolf would fit a Pro II to a B-1.

If you're actually looking for the 877A UTC specific Fighter bracelet there is one available right now on the 'Bay with a black dial A70174 UTC module attached as well. It looks like the module needs a new bezel and the whole kit needs a full factory polish. He wants a lot for it, around $1600 USD for the kit so we'll see if the ol' supply and demand axiom works in this case. When last produced in 2006 the module itself retailed for $725USD and the 877A bracelet was $250USD. Heck, today, even if you can find the "regular" 874A (non UTC specific) bracelet for the B-1 you'll pay at least $500 for it pre-owned. As Gav (Find-400) will tell you, if the UTC modules are rare as hen's teeth, the bracelet for them is rare as ostrich teeth. Consider making that seller an offer and see what happens...
Best,
Ron

I think this might be it http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Breitling-B1- ... 337f01aaa5 , have a look at it under the zoom some of the scratches look like dings on the UTC do you think they would polish out.

Still for a rare find it's price reflects the condition. for a re-furb if breitling still carry the AR glass ??? you could be looking at another £350 GBP for them to do it.

Regards Mark

Hi Mark,
I, too, am looking for an A70174 with 877A bracelet, but in a blue dial. I noticed the same dings in the case of that auction post, and I think the only reason I'm not jumping on it is because i fear that those dings look more substantial such that polishing won't get them out (plus, it's a black dial, not blue.)

Guys.

I think you need to take a "time out" here as the issue isn't the UTC....... it's the bracelet!!!.

As Ron formed you that I would concur with his post, and I do, the rarity here is the 877A bracelet not so much the UTC.

stuijt, you are looking for a bracelet to go with your UTC, this may be your opportunity although I think the £999 is slightly high as I sold a near immaculate UTC and bracelet for £600 although I have seen them go for £800.

You can always have the UTC refurbished and sell it on the brown leather strap and recoup some of your outlay.

I puchased many UTC's on bracelets to make sure I got the best 877A/UTC kit for my B-1 and B-2.

Sometimes you have to speculate to accumulate if you see where I'm coming from.

The seller has given you the option of making an offer.
