For sale is my 60’s Seamaster 300 165024....
These were introduced in the mid 60’s and the Seamaster 300 165024 is one of the most iconic divers watches ever made. The watch was issued in a number of different formats and this one has the popular sword hands fitted.

This example is an original piece dating back to the 60’s. The patina of the dial is excellent and this is complemented by the near perfect natural patina of the hour markers on the dial.

The watch, as you can see, has been well looked after its near 50 years life, most importantly it is original and retains all of its vintage character including the domed crystal. The only fault I can find is that Im told the hands have been re painted at some time but do, in my opinion have an acceptable aged look as would be expected in a watch almost 50 years old.

The watch keeps good time and has a good reserve. The price is for the watch head only and included as a freebie is the Omega-marked bracelet which was bought as the original, but about which I give no guarantees plus a couple of Nato bands.

There are a few light marks on the watch in keeping with its age, no bumps, gouges or deep scratches anywhere. The bezel is excellent and is still in very good condition with the coin edge of the bezel being reasonably sharp and not smoothed as you might expect. Case profiles are as they should be and the caseback is also correct with the logos and wording clearly visible.

Movement is a cal 552 original to the watch and is outstanding clean.

This really is a cracking example of an Seamaster 300 165024 and I am looking for £1550 for the watch, shipped RMSD or International signed for (insured for £500)

I would be interested in trades but only for either a Tag Heuer Monaco Steve McQueen, Bremont MB II orange or a white dial Breitling Aerospace latest model with cash either way.
