Post subject:  Looking for a (Coral Face) UTC or a Co-Pilot 4an Emergency

I am lookiing for either a Co-Pilot, or a UTC (UTC is my preference but since I do wear use the watch in an operation protocol and in international travel I am reasonably anxious to purchase it, however, since I am also in need of being reasonably frugal price is also a consideration, (and yes, my secretary has told me that these two ambitions are irreconcileable, however, I neet to try my best to combine them to the maximum extent possible). I would need to have the UTC in Coral (It is my understanding that the Co-Pilot is only available in black, but if this is misinformation I would appreciate being corrected by a more knowledgeable listmember) on a Titanium bracelet. It would obviously be to my advantage to attempt to find a seller that would be interested in including my current Titanium bracelet in an exchange to reduce the cash cost of the transaction to me, and of course if the seller were to be a vendor, it would certainly be a new piece for inventory.

If a fellow list member does not personally know of such an item, but is aware of a speciality dealer, vendor, collector who might be willing to engage in either a sale, or again a transaction that included partial payment in the form of my current bracelet I would appreciate any recommendations or references.

By way of introduction, this is also the first Breitling watch that I have owned, although I have flown with fellow pilots who swore by them (some of the models that they wore were so complex that I always wondered how they were able to manipulate the watch and to fully utilize its functionality, particularly if we were flying Blackhawk or Chinook helicopters. As with all rotary wing aircraft, except perhaps having more complications than even the most complicated of our watches, reading the small dials, and trying to manipulate the particular controls on the watch while wearing nomex flyng gloves would have been beyond my capabilities even in my best and early days, with 20-15 vision in both eyes and allegedly enough coordination to hover a tandem rotor helicopter without any steerable landing gear (CH-47A series). In the past I have collected Patek Phillipe, and an occasional Piaget watches, which by their nature have complications that might benefit a an owner/end user but for the most part I have found that complications, particularly on the Pateks, were simply there to make the watch more interesting and as a display of the watchmaker's skills. And, of course they lacked the most important, & most practical IMNSHO, complication, that is uniquely found on my Emergency, a means of summoning rescuers should our flying skills, or the severity of the malfunction be such as to preclude an opportunity to RTB safely [or in the alternate, should I be out in the MB Gwagen and either overestimate my "off-roading skills" &/or underestimate the threat of the obstacle and do more rolls, flips and turns than an Olympic diver and when the movement of the vehicle stops and I have assessed the severity of my injury, and of course the degree of pain present as a stimulus to do so, perhaps "flex" the rules of usage, but ONLY to the extent as to what type of vehicle was involved in the incident (&, of course should the "G" become "airborne" in its return to the surface of the earth closest to the source of its gravitational pull) and the need and call for the assistance and rescue would in any event be a valid response to the needs that existed on the ground. Oh, yes, and the PP, & P watches are totally ill-suited to these activities as well as they are much more at home with a wearer accompanying a diva than a 21st Century version of a cowboy whose wife accompanies him and assists with the branding of the cattle.

This is my virgin posting to the list, so if there is anything that is being said or done that is impermissable I would ask that the listmaster advise me by private message as to what, if any violations of the rules I may have transgressed and I shall rectify the error(s) immediately.
