This bird has now flown... Thanks as always to BS for the facility...

I picked up a Breitling B1 in a recent trade, and the previous owner had a Black Ocean Racer rubber strap that he threw in, a 22mm (22-20). It's fitted to a non-Breitling Steel Clasp, in a Blacksteel finish.

It's in very good condition (he mainly wore the B1 on the bracelet), but has been sized (cut). My wrist is the full gorilla size (8.2"), so this is not going to be of any use to me, so it's up for grabs.

Ocean Racer straps have six removable segments on each side, each of 5mm. This has had 3 segments removed on one side, and two from the other.

The side with the 3 segments removed measures 64mm, the side with two segments removed is is 69mm. As fitted on the clasp at the moment, the total length is 154mm. Conservatively estimating the watch head as 38mm, this means this strap is suitable for a wrist size of up to 192mm, or a shade over 7.5 inches. Obviously, further segments can be removed if necessary, but the maximum wrist size is as stated.

Though not Breitling, the steel clasp is pretty cool, a push-button release style, with a foldover top. It's in excellent condition, with no marks that I can see on the visible sections, very minor signs of use in the underside. It's a matt Black finish, and has a 'W' within a larger 'C' logo on the foldover clip.

A new Breitling Ocean Racer Rubber will set you back £50. I'll let this one go for a bargain £28, and that includes the 'Blacksteel' generic clasp, and UK postage. Add £2 for shipping to Europe, £2.50 for Rest of the World.

I've loads of Feedback on here, plenty more on TZ-UK (username 'BigBird', though the search facility on there is a bit limited), plus I'm a 'Top Rated' e-bay seller (2080+ deals, 100%, username 'goonermike'), so there are no worries there.

I'd prefer BT for UK buyers. PayPal if absolutely necessary (and for overseas buyers), but I cannot accept PayPal Gifts (my account just won't accept them, and I get charged even on 'gifts' - they're trying to sort it out). So if you want to use PayPal, it'll be via the 'official' route.

If I've missed anything, you'd like more info or pics, please feel free to PM me.

Cheers!

Mike
