I picked up some used Breitling Display paraphernalia at a local auction, and stuck it on e-bay last week - however, the top bidder on this particular lot turned out to be a time waster, and decided after the auction not to pay due to 'somebody ill in the family' - forgive my hard-hearted attitude, but she previously (and subsequently) bought and paid for several other items, so her 'story' seems convenient....
Here's a cut and paste of the e-bay description:
"This is a rarity! I've managed to get hold of some genuine Breitling display items, that I picked up at a local auction. There's quite a few bits and pieces, and I'll be listing them all on e-bay over the coming weeks, so do have a look at my other items if this is of interest.
This lot is in 2 parts.
First of all, there is a very distinctive Display Board, in Yellow, with a Chrome surround, the word 'BREITLING' in applied Chrome letters, and multiple steel aeroplanes, 8 altogether, which give a great '3D' depth to the display. On the back, it's a Black laminate background with a large Silver Breitling Logo and wording. It's in used condition, but very good - there are some marks on the yellow rubber base, particularly on the right hand side as you look at it, though I imagine you could quite easily clean it up with some soap and water. The chrome surround and the steel planes could do with a good polish. The laminated reverse featuring the large logo and wording has some 'bubbling' to the left hand side (see pictures). This is a solid, quality item, as you would expect from Breitling. It is screwed on to a freestanding chrome base.
The second part of the lot is a Presentation shelf, in a laminated wood, covered in Yellow Leather, with aluminium front legs. It doesn't have back legs, so presumably was butted against a display board or cabinet. It's in good used condition, with various light 'dinks' in the leather, but no rips or tears.
Measurements Display Board: Width 482mm, Height 178mm, Depth 84mm at extremes. Weight total 2088 grams.
Measurements Shelf: Width 336mm, Depth 300mm, Height with Front Feet 65mm, Height at back 42mm. Weight total 989 grams.
Other - Breitling Display items don't come up very often, and these are very desirable items for collectors and enthusiasts. They are heavy, and nice quality. They are in used condition, so please read the description and look at the photos.
I've tried to be as accurate as I can in the description of this item, please read the description and look at the photographs carefully. You should study the photographs, which I've taken in close up detail - it will be enable you to evaluate the cosmetic condition far more accurately than I can describe it.
UK Bidders: Postage for this item, packed weight around 3400 grams, and which will be securely packaged for delivery, will be £10.12, by Royal Mail First Class Recorded Delivery, which will be with you within 1-2 days after posting. I always aim to despatch my sold items within one working day of receipt of cleared funds. Of course, should you win more than one of the items I'm selling, I will combine postage costs as much as possible.
Payment by PayPal, Personal Cheque or Money Order please. Personal Collection is available, in which case Cash on Collection is preferred.

Now this 'sold' for £260, before the buyer developed tyre-kicker syndrome. That would have cost me about £31 in fees, so how about £230

Postage/Shipping prices are as quoted in the description (£10 for UK, @ £25 for Western Europe, and an eye-watering @ £58 for the Rest of the World (sorry, but these are large and heavy items, and have to be sent by courier - the figures quoted should be the maximum, and I'll shop around for the best price for your country).
I've loads of Feedback on here, I'm a 'Top Rated' e-bay seller (1950+ deals, 99.9%, username 'goonermike'), and I've got plenty of Feedback on TZ-UK (username BigBird), though the search facility on there is limited at present.
I'd prefer BT, certainly for UK buyers. PayPal if absolutely necessary, but I cannot accept PayPal Gifts, so if you'd like to go down that route, it will be 'official', and I'll add 3.4% to cover Fees.
