I'm a long-time Breitling admirer and have been searching (in vain?) for a Cosmonaute with a specific set of features. I have by no means completed an exhaustive search to see if such a feature combination is possible, but here's what I'm looking for:

+ "COSMONAUTE" on the face, rather than "CHRONOMETRE", "NAVITIMER" or "Scott Carpenter", etc.
+ Automatic
+ Date complication
+ Display back
+ GMT/Zulu hand

I have taken a look at a handful of A12322 pieces, but they are manual-wind and don't have the date complication. Similarly, I have looked at some of the recently discontinued models such as the 413, but they are missing some of the above features. As a matter of fact, I saw several examples of the latter last week when I was in St. Thomas, but didn't pull the trigger. No regrets, as I'm still doing my research.

Any thoughts from the experts on this board would be very much appreciated. I'm a former airline pilot and many years ago "did my time" at Edwards and Pax River as a member of the USN flight test community. Today I fly a Beech 58P as part of my business, and do travel around the globe (not in my Baron!) and can't wait to have that 24 hour face on my wrist!

Thanks so much!

Geoff

That combination doesn't exist, no Cosmonuates have a second time zone, and no automatic versions have a display back.

like Roff said - the watch you dream about was never built by Breitling - but it would be a nice combination of features, maybe some day ....

Thanks a lot for the help. Maybe they'll introduce that feature set someday.
