FS: Breitling Bentley 6.75 – Silver dial. Watch is in great condition. Serviced and polished at BUSA on 3/25/2011 and worn sparingly since. Head is almost perfect, bracelet has some of the normal hairline scratches from careful wear. My taste have changed a bit and just don’t wear this beautiful watch anymore.
Watch History:
I purchased the watch pre-owned in November of 2008 from the original owner. After wearing for a few months, I noticed the dual date mechanism was not functioning properly. It would on occasion not change or “hang” half way during its rotation. I put up with this issue for several months as it was not my daily wearer. Finally I sent the watch to BUSA in January of 2010 via my local AD. The watch returned with a full service and polish and a sorted date function on 3/17/2010. This service cost $851.78 (ouch) but the watch looked and performed like new. Again after a few months I noticed that on certain dates, the numbers did not line up perfectly. It never failed to change, but being anal and having paid so much for service, I sent it back to BUSA direct under the service warranty and asked for it to be corrected. Alas, on 3/25/2011 I received my watch back with another full service and polish(free of charge) and this time it has functioned perfectly. I have itemized documentation from the most recent service as well as the receipt for the initial service.
