Up for sale is this 100% authentic and ultra-desirable Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Chronograph ref. 256860ST.OO.1110ST.01 in steel and on bracelet. This Genta-designed classic automatic chrono was comprehensively serviced in late 2007 by AP and comes with a 3-page service record as well as double boxes (the original owner was never able to find the original paperwork or booklets). As you would expect after a full AP service and polish and having only been worn sparingly since, the watch is in crispy Excellent overall condition with only minor scratches and some dulling and minor marks to the prominent steel bezel.
Unlike the cult Offshore line, the ROC is very versatile and elegant at 40mm and comes on the legendary integrated bracelet, which is likewise Excellent. It is currently sized for my 7.25” wrist and there is one extra link, so it should fit up to about 7.5”. This example features a beautiful Mint dark blue/gray guilloche dial and Mint hands, both with strong Luminova luminous. The sapphire crystal is flawless.
This great Royal Oak Chronograph is keeping good time and all functions--quickset date, chronograph start, stop and reset--are operating flawlessly. The pushers and crown all screw down properly for maximum water resistance. That said, I have not had the watch tested, so I am not guaranteeing the WR. A good watchmaker will be able to confirm that for you but I’m sure it is up to its depth rating.
