Rules require a trade value if you aren't looking for an exact trade.

Sorry, not really sure of the prices but have now stated a trade value. Can't seem to find an actual price list though.

/K

I see calf strap with a list price of $160 and tang buckle with a list price of $25 in 2009.

For a frame of reference for us here in the UK, 2009 prices are as follows;

Leather (calf) strap £90
Tang type buckle (steel) £20

that's £110 . In $US?.......... about $170 brand new....unused...not even for 5 days.

Today it's £170. About $263US

You do the math :shock:

So your points is that prices has gone up immensely or that I'm aiming too high? Sometimes it's a bit difficult to."do the math" when you're counting in another language.
Well as I said, it's a trade and I'm very much open for suggestions. If the rubber strap is the one I'm after and in newish condition there might be an even trade.....

You are quite correct in what you say and your approach.

Language or currency doesn't matter really as it's accepted here the seller is free to nominate their price which I totally agree with. As always the market will decide.

However you've got me thinking. I am selling a virtually unmarked, hardly worn titanium Pro II bracelet for less than I paid in 2009. Perhaps I do myself an injustice and I should try your tactic and ask the new price today...£860? :thumbsup:

Maybe you should but a sale is a bit different from a trade, I'm sure you agree. I'm starting to think that a trade is too much of a hassle and that I should've gone for a straight sale instead. Might edit my ad later on.
