From memory crystal changed from mineral to sapphire during the model lifetime. Usually Breitling always uses sapphire for service replacements, but they should be able to confirm.

Thant is what I believe also, and I agree that Breightling should be able to look up the service order and confirm.

That model has mineral crystal.
Its successor has sapphire.

Crystal clarification - A57035 is only available with the mineral crystal, not sapphire.

I just got off the phone with BUSA, and confirmed a sapphire crystal is not an option for this model, nor will BUSA put one on this watch.

To see if I could be a pioneer and start a "mod" trend for Colts I asked if BUSA would put aN A74350 dial on an A57035. Nope, not a chance. :)

Wow, I would have thought they would put a sapphire on any older model when the crystals are replaced; the same with different dials, but I'm guessing that Breitling wants to keep their different lines as original as possible.
