Up for sale or trade is my recently acquired Titanium Omega Speedmaster HB-SIA.
Omega reference is 3219.0445.201.001 and it is better known as the Solar Impulse.
Made of all titanium this is (IMO) the ultimate Speedmaster. Not too large at 44.25mm it has the added complication of the GMT function, a beautiful carbon fibre dial and doesn’t feel like a diving weight when you wear it. A true “travellers” watch.
I searched for one of these for a good while as they were released as a limited edition only and can be hard to get at a sensible price (list was over £6K I believe). Overspending has alerted SWMBO and now I need to try and balance the books.
This one is in great overall condition and dates to November 2009. It comes in the twin Omega box set and is complete with instruction manual, Omega Co-Axial hang tag, wallet and warranty and pictogram cards.
Bracelet is big enough for a 7.5 inch wrist but there are no spare links (they are £70 each from an AD).
Ideally I am looking for a sale (recent excessive spending) but as ever with this sickness, I wouldn’t rule out a trade. I am only really looking for an Omega Planet Ocean Titanium (must be the full set) in either 42mm or 46mm guise.
Price is £3250.00 which when you look at others that are available offers a fairly good saving.
