NOW OHPF! (sold via another forum). Thanks to BS for hosting.

Thanks to Eddie of course, and to buyer.

Mike

Up for grabs is a very smart Chrono Colt Superquartz A73350. This the most desirable Black Dial/Silver Register version.

This SuperQuartz Chronograph model was produced between 2002 and 2005. Specs and other info can be found here: http://www.breitlingsource.com/watch_de ... e_155.html

CONDITION REPORT:

Crystal: The Sapphire Crystal is in excellent order - no visible marks of any kind.

Dial: Guilloche Black Dial, with 3 Sub-Dial Registers in 'Guilloche' Silver/Steel finish. Left Upper register is Chrono Hours, Right Upper register is Chrono Minutes, while the lower register is the main time Seconds hand. Steel 'spear' indicators on the registers. Applied Steel markers for numbers, with lumed tips. Lume is excellent. Minute Marker Track to outer of dial. Tachymeter Scale Chapter Ring. Overall excellent condition.

'Quickset' Date window at 4 o'clock, adjusts and changes correctly.

Hands: Hour and Minute hands are slim steel 'swords', segmented, with a luminous fill. Lume is excellent. The central Chronograph hand is steel, needle style with a red-tipped point tip, and a fancy 'B' counterbalance. All are in immaculate condition.

Case: The case is a classic diver-style, in mirror-polished steel. Condition is excellent, and I'm struggling to find even micro-scratches on the high-polish finish. No nicks or dinks.

Caseback: The caseback is a 14-sided screwback type. Markings are clear, including Model and Serial numbers (the Serial Number didn't photograph too well, but is present), with some minor hairline scratches at worst.

Bezel: There is a unidirectional steel bezel, in highly-polished steel, with a 'studded' grip side, which rotates fully in 120 ratcheted clicks. The steel 'chimney' which normally picks up scratches is sharp and clear of marks. The satin-brushed surface of the bezel top is free of marks, and the 'fill' is present in all numbers/increments. The polished rider tabs are crisp and bright. So pretty much excellent overall.

Crown/Pushers: All original Push-Down ridged-edge steel crown, clear 'B' signed. Two steel pushers. Super condition, all work perfectly.

Movement/Running: Breitling 73 'Superquartz' Movement (based on the ETA Thermoline 251.232), so amazingly accurate, apparently to +-10 seconds per year. I've had this a month, and it hasn't gained or lost at all. The Chrono functions perfectly, with a crisp flyback to zero on both registers and Chrono hand.

Strap: Currently mounted on a well-used Breitling Black leather strap with Breitling tang buckle. It's perfectly wearable, though does have some 'crackling' to the inside, at the smallest hole especially (previous owner must have had twigs for wrists). Some major discolouring on the underside as well, but pretty good on the outer, no nicks or tears. Tang buckle is very good, with minor micro-scratches. I've polished it, and it looks fine.

If you're not mad on the idea of a used strap, I'm also including a brand new 'BOB' Black/Ivory Calf leather strap, which arrived from Germany today, and is gorgeous (see photos). I'd suggest fitting that, but with the Breitling Tang, and the watch will look like new! If you don't want the BOB, knock £20 off the price.

Measurements: Width (without Crown): 38mm. Thickness: 13mm. Lug-to-lug: 42.5mm. Lug Width 18mm. Weight 77 grams

Other: This is at least 7 years old, but it really is in great condition. I've no history for it, but I wouldn't be surprised to learn it's had a recent 'spa'. The new BOB Black/Ivory strap is a lovely match to the steel/black/silver head. I don't have an original Box or Papers for this, but I will supply the watch in a Breitling Service/Travel Case - either the old style rectangular type as pictured, or the newer box style - buyer's choice.

The going rate for these seems to be around £1100, up to £1200 with a Full Set of Box & Papers, and up to £1400 or more if on the original bracelet. Bearing in mind that mine has no Box or Papers, and the Breitling Strap is a showing its age, I'll put this up at an extremely reasonable £899 - that will include Next Day RMSD for UK Buyers. Overseas will be a little extra - contact me for exact Shipping costs based on destination, as I'll use a Courier (Fed-Ex/UPS) for safer Tracked Shipping. If you don't want the new BOB strap, you can reduce the price by £20.

I've loads of Feedback on here, I'm a 'Top Rated' e-bay seller (2290+ deals, 100%, username 'goonermike'), and I've got plenty of Feedback on TZ-UK (username 'BigBird'), so there are no worries there.

I'd prefer BT, certainly for UK buyers. I can accept PayPal if absolutely necessary, or for overseas, but I cannot accept PayPal Gifts (my account just won't accept them, and I get charged even on gifts). So if you want to use PayPal, it'll be via the 'official' route, and you'll need to add 3.4% to cover Fees.

If I've missed anything, you'd like more info or pics, please feel free to PM me.

Cheers!

Original Breitling strap - some 'crackling' to underside, and discolouration - still perfectly wearable though:

And a couple of obligatory 'Lume' shots - just because...
