I have posted before about my GMT and some symbolism it had; hence, this Preface. It was originally to be my only nice watch, and the one I would pass to my son. The one became a collection, and he told me wasn't that interested in it, though I was going to let time pass on that. But my wife let me know that the watch my son really loves is the old Omega we gave him for his 16th birthday, and since I now have collection it's not just one watch, but any part of the collection that began with my mother's suggestion 10 years ago that will ultimately go to him. It's my collection and I should enjoy it.
With that, it's time to move on. The changes I want to make require selling the GMT. It is a late-1990s vintage, in-service in 1999 and I bought it in 2002. I think it's in excellent condition, untouched cosmetically since I bought it. It has light scratches on the band and a few on the case, so I have attached several photos. It had its first complete service in 2007, so it should have a few years left. Runs flawlessly, a few seconds fast, but I can put on my watch guy's machine before shipping to confirm it's running in COSC standards. It came on a black bezel, which is also in excellent shape and included, but right now its on Pepsi. Inner box, outer and most papers, including the chrono certificate and original tags. The green seal reflects the overall treatment of the watch. It fits my 7 3/4 inch wrist with a fingertip of slack to spare. Asking $4250 shipped, wire transfer though with good references I would consider Paypal plus 3%.
I'll post it over at WUS as well, but still figuring out how to post photos there and I may as well post it here at "home" first.
