Hi guys. I just purchased a Chronomat 44 Raven. Beautiful watch but in my opinion would look 100 times better with the orange rubber strap available to only the larger watches. I was thinking of ideas to get the orange strap and it seems there is no option for that size watch.

Call me crazy, but I thought of an option. I'm just seeing what you guys think about it or have any ideas. I think the orange strap would fit if somehow I could find a way to neatly trim both ends of the band to make it fit the smaller Chronomat. Any suggestions?

I attached a picture of the watch and also the band. The band is yellow and of course would get the orange. Just for reference.

I don't know... I did the same with two or three straps (trimmed them from 22 to 20 mm with precision knife, not rubber but leather, was really careful doing this) and was never really satisfied with result.

I think that rubber is maybe even tougher to trim because it is elastic and there is little margin for error.

Did you consider Isofrane ?

Some love it, some hate it but I hear that it's very comfortable.

seems interesting . I looked at after market straps. I guess the only drawback is you would lose the deployment buckle which I like. I appreciate the feedback.
