no i think it was changed because of a few reasons, one the new clasp is more elegant, the strap doesn't have to double under so its much thinner etc.

I actually think the old style is more elegant -- as it has a more streamlined appearance on the wrist. I like the absence of a visible overlap, and the absence of "keepers" is also a plus.

Not to say that the new style isn't nice -- I just hope that Breitling will continue to provide the old style, as well, going forward. :)

completely agree re the last bit. i have 6 old style deployant clasps and i dislike the way IWC tang style deployants stretch and i imagine the new breitling ones will do the same so i would like to keep buying crocs for my old style ones

yes, you see the the folded pieces of metal that the strap goes through on the inside of the south side of the clasp?

compress them a little in the middle and it will keep the south side in position more

Cheers

I’m attaching photos as I am still not sure I understand. Which part do I compress?

Ah ok so that’s not a deployant that’s folding clasp.

Totally different.

So what’s slipping on your folding clasp the mocro adjustment?

Hmm. Not sure hard to tell what’s wrong without seeing it. The teeth don’t look worn so perhaps the spring or whatever keeps it under tension is damaged or worn.

Sorry can’t be more help.
