I am a new Breitling owner of a 24 hour Avenger Hurricane Military. I love it. My first Breitling. Immense on my pencil size wrist. I admit it I'm a dweeb

Problems: I'm allergic to the straps. I opted out of the rubber back strap that would kill me. I bought a poly back Breitling strap off a Cosmospace Military they had in the store. But I'm afraid I'm going to break out with this.

We attempted to install a thin leather nato I had bought but the clearance between the spring bar and the case was too small.
I was investigating a curved spring bar but had question about the sizing a 24 mm size but 1.5 or 1.8 size. Or would this even work because leather natos or even a robust leather strap can be thick.

So I humbly put out a call to my horologic brethren for assistance.

Welcome to BreitlingSource.

I would suggest you go to a store selling straps and measure what fits if you are unsure. You can always order online once you are sure but at least that way you will know if it will fit. The OEM straps use 1.7 or 1.8mm diameter springbars but if you are going aftermarket you'll need to find out what they are designed for.
