Do I need different spring bars for using a strap on a GMT Avenger II. On my Blackbird Big Date I have different spring bars for a strap -- would it be advisable to use these or is there a part number for the spring bars for straps? Thanks |

Strap spring bars are thicker than bracelet. You don't have to replace but it is advisable. Not aware of a part number as they aren't Breitling specific parts. |

From my experience most Breitling AD's (or definitely a Breitling Boutique) would be happy to give you a pair of the correct spring bars for your leather strap. One of my (funnily enough, Avenger II GMT) bracelet spring bars broke during a strap change so I used one of the ones from my leather strap. When I went into the local boutique and explained, they changed both bracelet spring bars and gave me two new ones for the leather strap. Nick |
