I have a 22-20 Ocean Racer strap that I love and has been sitting in my desk draw for about 3 years now. I just "found" it and would like to put in on a non-Breitling watch and am wondering what options I might have to use for a deployment mechanism for this strap? While I loved my Breitling deployant, I no longer have it and this would be going on a Bathys Benthic GMT, so the deployant would be worth more than the watch  so would prefer an inexpensive option anyone might recommend to work with the OR strap.

Thanks!

In case it is helpful to anyone else looking in the future, user crc32 posted this on WUS

This week I had in the mail and mounted it to my Seawolf. My thoughts:

* Its about 1 cm longer than the original OR clasp. If you sized your strap to match your wrist on the OR clasp you will need to cut the strap, which will make it unusable for the original clasp.
* Its designed for a smaller wrist than the Breitling clasp. With a set of pliers you can stretch it a little.
* It has not the same build quality / solid feel of the breitling one. It rattles a bit, which is fine for cheaper watches but a bit of letdown on a breitling

I ordered today and will report back on anything else I notice.

Received today. Fast shipping. The deployant is really well made and machined, and it has a very nice weight to it. I agree, however, with the other feedback posted, and the biggest disappointment is really the closing mechanism. It's nowhere near as smooth as on the real Breitling one, and you kind of have to put a lot of pressure on the center and it makes a "cheap" "pop" sound when you close it, although it's very securely closed once done. Overall, a really nice alternative for the price, especially if you don't want to spend the money. I really like that it has no branding on it.
