I've been wanting to buy the Rubber Breitling strap for my Colt 44 but didn't want to spend the money and then not be happy with it.
I was at my jewelers the other day looking at watches when I saw he had cheap rubber straps. I figured "why not, it's only $25."
Just installed it and I love it! The quality is actually really good for only $25.

I'll keep this one for now but I will be buying the Breitling strap eventually!

It looks OK, but cheaper 'rubber' straps are made of silicone and tend to have dust, lints or hair stick to them, so they often look 'dirty'.

Breitling straps are made of caoutchouc so nothing sticks to them, they are very comfortable and (depending on the model) not so expensive.

I think Breitling rubber straps have some of the best price/performance so you won't be disappointed :lingsrock:

Thank you for the info! I did not know the differences in the materials. I looked for Breitling straps and found that they'd be around $200 which is by no means a bad price. But I didn't want to spend $200 and find out I didn't like the look of the strap on me. There are plenty of watches (and other things) that I admire and want, but when I put them on, it just doesn't look good on me. So I wanted to make sure the rubber strap was a good idea. Hence spending $25 to make sure it's a good choice first.

The Pro 2 or Pro 3 would look great on this piece, as well as the Ocean Racer rubber. Many choice, although the strap you chose looks good too.

I agree! When I finally go to order the Breitling strap, I will have a hard time choosing. Although I'm leaning towards Pro 3.
