White rubber straps discontinued by Breitling!!!!!!! Anyone have a clue why? I need a new white rubber strap with the new adjustable deployment for a 6.75 B. Shed some light please

I'm just guessing here as I don't know for certain, but it could be due to a durability issue colour-wise. The infamous red OR was discontinued due to colour-bleed issues, so I guess it could be that the white would pick up (permanent) staining very easily. Staining is an issue on white G-Shocks, and the resin Casio uses is less prone to stains than natural rubber would be. Either that, or maybe it just simply wasn't popular enough to continue with. Durability and/or popularity are the only two reasons I could imagine why Breitling would discontinue something so new. |
