Is there a functional purpose why certain watches come with a bracelet while others come with a strap. Am thinking of buying a Diver Pro strap for my Colt 2. Just to take some of the polish of my wrist. I figure by having a black strap it might actually make the case pop more, the case only. Of course I might change my mind once the experiment is done. Will I be changing anything else besides the appearance of the watch by changing from steel to rubber on my Colt 2? Thanks in advance for you answer.

On polished watches it just reduces the shine and on cold weather it might be more comfortable.

Diver Pro 2 is without the Breitling text

Diver Pro 3 is with the Breitling text

thanks, for the break down of the rubber strap, and it does make the case pop. Looks great.
