The end links are definitely different.
In terms of polishing a brushed bracelet then yes of course it can be done. Anyone with a polishing wheel (or even a Dremel with an appropriate head, compound and a bit of skill) could do it. Hell, you could even do it by hand with enough patience, elbow-grease and lifetime supply of Cape-Cods!
But TBH, a jeweller/watch repairer with the correct tools (and skill) would always be the best bet. Breitling themselves will never do it, and a Breitling AD would be unlikely to encourage it as Breitling don't take kindly to watch modifications, but there are a lot of independent jewellers and watch-repairers out there with the ability to polish watches. If you struggle to find anyone locally to you, then somewhere like International Watch Works would definitely be able to do it for you.
