Hi,

I've been looking for a 423A Navitimer bracelet for my Cosmonaute Serie Speciale A12023.1. I've read through a few threads here and it seems the 440A will fit the cossie as well.

I made enquiries through a dealer who told me that a 447A will fit my watch as well. Before i commit to purchase i would like to ask if it does indeed fit or if i'm better off getting a 423A or 440A?

Thanks and regards,
Adrian

Would be surprised if it fit as clearly different cases. You would need to check before committing, but personally I would stick to the correct one.

I have the 423 that I use with my Montbrillant 1461 and Grand Premier.
It will also fit my pre 01 Navitimer A23322 but I am using the 442 that came with it.
I also have the 447, it came with the Navitimer 01. It will not fit the earlier Navi A23322.
As it happens, the Cossie DB is heading my way and I should have it towards the end of the week and can try them all out for you if you can wait until then.

Thanks. Stay tuned. I'll try the 423, 442 and 447 on the Cossie DB for you next weekend and give you all the details with pictures.
I've found that some of these Navi bracelets make you feel like they fit but once you see the difference between the original and the one "that you think fits", you realise that it actually does not fit.
This may sound like a mouthful but I'll try to illustrate it closeup pictures next weekend.

OK, my Cossie has arrived so here is the verdict.
The 447 from Navi 01 looks like it fits. The end link "hugs" the case of the Cossie very nicely but there is just a little too much play and swivels up as seen in the second picture.
The 442 from the pre 01 Navi 23322 does the same thing unfortunately.
The next two pictures show the 400 that came with the Cossie and the 423 that I'm using with my Grand Premier and with my Montbrillant 1461.
Hope this helps.

Yes, I'm worried that this Cossie is going to pull me over to the dark side, the patina side, the Breitling Vintage side where the Schwartz is strong my Padawan. ;-)
