Sometimes I wish the clasps on both of my Breitling(s) were matte. Got my watch on November 28th and the clasp is already showing signs of wear. ![]() |

This won't eliminate the clasp accumulating scratches but it will definitely keep them from being as obvious. |

I think someone here suggested putting tape over the surface to protect it. Search & you will probably find it. I dislike deployment type buckles for this very reason. I also find them difficult to size on my wrist. Why not buy a good quality second strap & use that for every day use, leaving the deployment for special occasions? Just a thought. ![]() |

That's an interesting thought. What's probably going to happen is I'll just get used to it like I did with my other one. I hate leather straps so that's not an option. The only time I really see the scratches is when I'm staring at the watch looking for them. That will probably stop in a few weeks. It's just because it's new. |

Just keep a Cape cod handy. Polish it up whenever the scratches bother you? |
