Post subject:  Question about Breitling Chronomat Evolution Pilot Bracelet

Hi All,

I just recently bought a Breitling chronomat evolution that has a brushed bezel and I was wondering what band I can match it with that is also brushed metal.

I have seen a few threads that the chronomat evolution bracelet is the pilot bracelet 357A/372A.

What is the different between the two? Is there a chronomat evolution bracelet that is brushed? I see a few online that are 18mm, 20mm, 22mm and claim it is the pilot bracelet. Are they referring to the length of the bracelet or the width at the clasp.

The different bracelet measurements are lug widths, Breitling bracelets are unique to each model and as noted you need 357a or 372a, others won't fit properly. The only difference between them is the clasp - 372a is the later one with the raised logo. Both are polished but there is nothing to stop you from getting them brushed.

How much would it be do you think to get it brushed?

Well a couple of bucks for a Scotchbrite pad to do it yourself or whatever a local jeweller will charge. Under $100 I would imagine.

The bezel may be brushed but I'm assuming the case and lugs are polished.
I think it will look odd if you stick a brushed bracelet between polished lugs.
