Quick question for all u guys. Can the deployment clasp that comes with the rubber strap be used with a croc strap and vice versa? Thank you in advance to all you guys.. I really like the deployment buckle of the rubber and looks of the croc and wanted to enjoy both worlds. ... |

I dot think so. You would have I cut the leather or croc. |

It's been asked a number of times on here, as it's clearly something that Breitling owners want. However, as note above, the two are not compatible. Your only option would be to get a croco strap custom made to fit by a company like ABP Paris. |

Someone answered this for me recently....get two croc straps for the regular deployment clasp and use the short ends (with springbar loops on both ends). I got some measurements and this technique should fit up to an 8 inch wrist. I'm in the process of doing it right now....just in calf leather not croc. If it works I'll post some pics. |

For the price of two croc straps, you purchase like 5 or 6 custom croc straps made to fit. That doesn't seem like a very economical solution to me even if it does work... Sent from my XT907 using Tapatalk |

Well that's why I'm buying calf leather instead of croc....much cheaper. As far as fit, the two short ends are both 90mm (approx. 3 1/2 inches x 2 = 7 inches). Then add the length of the watch and the clasp...8 inches doesn't seem like a stretch to me. |

Interesting (and I would love to see it work), however, looking at my 738P against my 134S there are noticeable differences. Depth of the strap; The 134S is approx. 1.5 the depth of the 738P. The 134S grips the strap in a 'clamp' type arrangement rather than the standard deploy ant clasp which uses a 'tension' grip. Length of the strap; The 134S is much shorter than the 738P (might work to your advantage). Personally I would get ABP to make you a custom (you can stipulate all dimensions), much better than the chance of ending up with a handful of very expensive off-cuts. |
