I have acquired a beautiful Breitling pen at a charity auction. It has all the attributes of the brand that I love in my Breitling watches. Chunky, heavy, a real feeling of quality. The only infuriating aspect of it is that when you unscrew the top and put it on the end of the pen to write, it falls off. Now matter how much you try and twist it on, it shakes loose immediately. What a shame. I'm guessing I'll have to improvise a solution unless any of you out have one. (not sure I can paste a picture!)
Can anyone help?

A few drops of loctite will fix that common problem right up!

Disclaimer: Kidding of course.

I'm not sure if it's meant to "stick" on the end of the pen, the bakelite would scratch after a while from that forced on. I would just leave the top off to the side while you write with it, then screw it back on when your done.

Thanks for replies guys. I tried that Loctite solution. Now I'm looking for a new pen… :D Seriously, writing without the top on the pen completely changes its balance, it's just not the same. At the moment I'm thinking if having a thin rubber sleeve put in the lid. Hopefully Breitling will pick this up and consider amending the design.
