I recently purchased a Superocean ll chrono from an AD while on vacation in Jamaica. I purchased watch with two tone rubber strap which I wore home and a high polish stainless professional ll bracelet. when I got home noticed that high polish bracelet does not match brushed finish on top of lugs although it does match high polish on case sides. Thinking about getting a brushed finish bracelet but unsure if the expense is worth the look.. Tried to contact the AD for a swap but they are unresponsive. Most of the superocean ll chronos I have seen have the brushed finish bracelets. Any thoughts on this????

Well let's start by checking which bracelet they gave you with the watch. What's the code on the back (3 numbers followed by the letter a)?

That's the polished bracelet for the polished version of the SO44 - http://www.breitlingsource.com/watch_de ... n_237.html. I believe that the correct end links for the SO II Chrono are 134a so I would try and get the bracelet swapped for the right one. I know that might be tricky if you bought on vacation, but the AD gave you the wrong bracelet!

The 163A end links seem to fit perfectly into the lugs. The bracelets look the same with the difference appearing to be brushed vs bright finish. watch is model A13341. Any idea what the difference might be between the two and how the difference in end links effects wearability ?

Thanks very much for the assist. Perhaps the folks at amex will help get the AD's attention.
