Swapping back and forth between bracelet and strap I damaged one spring bar of the bracelet, those with pointy finals.
First thing I went to a local AD and asked for it. They answered me that I had to leave the watch and probably it would take up to one month for the replacement!
Obviously I'm not leaving the watch for a month for a spring bar, so now I'm wearing it with the strap, but I need advice on where to source these bars, genuine Breitling, obviously.
Every suggestion is welcome.

If you want 'genuine Breitling' then an AD. Of course there is no such thing as 'genuine Breitling springbars' they just buy third party, so you may as well too. Try ofrei.com in the US.

Well, leaving the watch to the AD for one month is excluded...
Sure, 'genuine Breitling springbars' doesn't exists, only, I was looking for bars with that shape, but all the bars I found till now doesn't have.

Otto too, as far as I know, has only "standard" bars, not shaped that way. And, too odd, 50$ shipping cost...

the only reasonable approach is to order the correct springbars from your AD - no need to leave the watch there until the parts are available ?

ask them to order Breitling parts 520.xx.1, replace xx with your desired lug width.

their answer was: "we need to be sure of the part number , so we have to examine the watch; the technician has to see it...." bla bla bla bla...
I know it should take 10 seconds to understand what is needed, I could also give them the part number, but... you know... no "expert" can accept that a customer has more knowledge than him...

My bracelet is 22mm, so it should be 520.22.1, right?

ok, you have 5 or 6 ADs around you.

not all of them will be morons. if they turn out to be, you might contact Thomas from Vienna (member Alien), I am sure he would be able to assist.
