Post subject: | Deployant micro adjuster instructions |
Assuming Ricardo made it to the post box last week, there's a strong possibility that there will be a rubber strap with push button clasp waiting for me when I get home. I've seen mention of the micro adjuster and setting it when sizing the strap, but can someone direct me to a class guide to what it does and how it's adjusted? If the answer is that it will be blatantly obvious how it works when I've got it in my hand, that's fine, but if it's one of those things that's a bit tricky or there's a knack to it, I'd rather know before rather than when I'm stood there frustrated with craft knife in hand. TIA |

It's blatantly obvious when you've got it in your hand ![]() You press the button marked "push" and move it in or out. |

This will help - http://www.breitlingsource.com/articles ... acer.shtml As far as I can tell from handling one, it's almost identical to the Omega version I have on my Ploprof. And if so, then it's very simple to adjust. The thing to do (IMO) is to make sure the adjustable section of the clasp is in the middle (i.e. not right at either end, in order to allow adjustment either way). Then it's just a case of trimming the rubber (very carefully and one piece at a time) until it is the right length : any fine adjustment can be taken up with the "Push" adjustable piece. |

Actually it was that article that confused me but I've realised it was me being thick. I read " I prefer to set the micro adjuster in the middle when sizing the watch. That way I have some room to make it both more and less tight" and was looking at the picture above rather than the picture below. I'm sure I'll be fine... |
