For some people a submariner was a must have watch when Sean Connery sported one as James Bond, for me it was more recent. When I saw the Leonardo's character Archer sporting a Breitling Titanium Avenger with dark oiled strap in Blood Diamonds I new that was the one for me. Well I didn't have the Avenger Chrono but possibly the next best thing. I had a Titanium Seawolf so this would work just fine due to the same case design and material.
Looking at a number of still photos from the movie it appears to be a darker reddish brown with a natural colored stitching. Obviously padded just like the OEM Breitling straps.
So.....I went to work to duplicate my favorite watch combo from the movie. My very own blood diamond movie watch.

Here are the results. SNPR Oil Tanned Brown colored walnut with a natural stitch and padded. I'm very pleased with the results.

Ill call it the Blood Diamond Strap. Enjoy!!!

Nice strap. How much did it cost you.
I'd like one just like it.

Very good work. I too find myself back on forth on leather strap options for my very recently acquired chrono avenger. The blood diamond movie stills are a great source for my GAS. Funnily enough I haven't actually seen the movie yet.. that might push me over the edge.

I had avoided the whole avenger/ seawolf model line thinking that the size would be just too much, but the watch wears so well I wish I'd tried one sooner.

Very nice. In the movie it was a Breitling Brown calf well watered and muddied.

That looks really cool. Love the darker strap and the effect it has on a dark watch face.

I did not know Leonardo wore one in BD. I will have to get that movie out and check it out. We have it around here somewhere. And to think, he’s a TAG Ambassador now, isn’t he?

I really like that, the ti on brown leather look. I don't have the wrists for an Avenger but my Aerospace is on a brown strap.

Nice work! How much would it cost to make me one? I have a CA I think it would look great on. I'm usually not one for aftermarket straps but that looks real sweet.
