So what about coating the deployment buckle with clear nail polish to protect it? If yes then how about the two or three links next to the buckle? Thoughts? Opinions?

Stopped worrying about it.
A bit of cape cod and elbow grease from time to time is good enough for me.

Not sure. I think Nail polish will craze over time and yellow off. It will need to be removed and a new coating applied from time to time. All that spirit needed to clean up before a recoat; what a smell!

No, think I would rather take my chances, wear it with an eye to where my wrists are going at any one time and clean up with polish, if needs be.

Put it on a winder and put it in your safe. That's the only way it won't get scratches and swirls. Seriously after a couple weeks you won't even think about it.

Wear it and beat the crap out of it, it always polishes up like new. :)

Mrs wessa would think that I have gone completely bonkers if I started using her nail polish to protect my bracelets and would most likely kick me out from the house together with my watches :-)

Brilliant, why not opt for fully pink polish while your at it? And me who thought one couldn't have anything but DLC black... Foolishly underestimated human creativity there...

Whatever you do OP... Post some pictures.

black nail polish would provide a cheaper alternative to DLC... and probably look about as good.
Maybe with some extra glow in the dark highlights on the bracelet?
