I have a black dialed SA with silver/white subs. Do you think a brown calf strap would look ok on it or should I stick with black?

Definitely black, even burgundy looks nice, I have 2 black dial SA

I would avoid combining brown leather with red dial details. It somehow bites, I tried with my Navi and a brown JLC alligator strap... Changed it for a black strap soon after.

You beat me to it. Your pics were the ones I had in mind as to how a brown or tan/cognac leather strap can look ace with a black and silver faced watch. Yep, its definitely doable as your watch would suggest.

Hahaha. I was all over it that day. It was the first day it was on my wrist. So I was def willing to take pics and share.
