did anyone tryed to mount on the SOH 42 other breitling bracelet than the mesh? I see from the references here on breitlingsource that all these bracelets have straight end links (not sure about size availability btw):

http://www.breitlingsource.com/bracelet_pilot.shtml
http://www.breitlingsource.com/bracelet ... nal2.shtml
http://www.breitlingsource.com/bracelet_speed.shtml

Are all these suitable? Anyone tryed and wishes to share some pics?

No other bracelet will fit properly, because the end links are case specific. You could probably get a different bracelet to fit, but won't fit properly, and will cause damage to the case.

Not quite because there are some pilot and speed and navi bracelets with straight ends, not fitted end links, similar to the mesh. I think that is what the OP is getting at, though the Pro II and Pilot he linked are case-specific end links.

Even for the models that do have straight end links, there is no guarantee that the holes will line up properly for the spring bar.

this is exactly what I was trying to verify.
I choosed those bands because, from their pictures, it looked to me like they had straight end links. So I was wondering if someone experimented to answer MattC about hole positioning

A member here, mfserge, once put a pilot bracelet on a Transocean, which is only available on the mesh bracelet. It seemed to fit well.

I put a straight end link Navi on a TO to see if it might work, it did, but the lugs were still too long for my wrists. :(

That said, the SOH is the only model I prefer with the mesh - it just looks right to me. The TO with the mesh is an odd look despite the "history" thing.

As from this post

viewtopic.php?f=12&t=32208

Both speed and pilot should work
