Hello,

I just came from the jewelers to have my pilot bracelet sized, and he said I was missing one of these screws from the extra link. Does anyone know how to get more of them? I hope these pictures help. I know they are hard to see buts its the best I could do.

Thanks guys

I think that you will need to get them through an AD.

So you think the guy was mistaken? Because the AD here in Cleveland sends their stuff to this guy for repair. Hmm maybe I should bring it somewhere else

It looks like a bracelet screw to me rather than a bezel screw which would be more rounded. I still think that an AD is hte best bet because they can order from Breitling which is the only official source.

The ADs in my area are very difficult to work with, and don't seem to want to help me because I didn't buy the watch from them. Should I just call the AD where the watch came from, which was Govbergs?

In theory any AD should help you and BUSA wouldn't like to hear that ADs weren't, but I am sure that Govbergs would be more than happy to assist.

This is such a frustrating situation. The screws are for the extra links only. The local AD offered to send it in to Breitling. I don't want to do that. I called Govbergs. They refused to send me the screws. Further, they said they can do the repair I SEND IN THE ENTIRE WATCH. I have no clue why they would need me to send in the entire watch, if all I need are the screws for the extra links??

They likely asked for the watch to avoid you taking the bracelet off.

Might be worth a call to BUSA and ask them about a local AD who can help out - any AD with a watchmaker should be able to do it. Even if it was one that didn't want to do it before walking in saying "BUSA told me that you could do this......" might carry some weight.

Hmm, possible but I explained that the links weren't on the bracelet, that they are extra links missing the screws. The person there seemed very rigid and insisted I send the entire watch, even though the watch and bracelet have nothing to do with the extra links and the screws they require. You wouldn't think getting a couple of screws would be such a big deal...

Try telling my wife that
But seriously, there is something wrong with the ADs in your area if they are not interested in helping you out. Sounds a bit extreme but I'd be tempted to take one screw out from your bracelet and walk into an AD and show them that you lost a screw and ask if they can help you.

Navitimer World has a Navitimer bracelet, not Pilot. Screws are same diameter and thread, but not sure about length.

Thanks so much watch nut. If the screw fits it would save me a huge hassle.
