Hi Folks

I am intending on swapping out from bracelet to strap quite frequently and very nervous about the Pro 2 and fitting it the endlinks correctly and carefully to the watch head.

I have a Bergoen springbar tool (The F Model) so removal is no issue for me. It's the refitting, with minimal marking that has me a little nervous.

Can any SA owners proficient with refitting the bracelet give me a little hollar and share best practice.

Thanks

I actually find it easier to insert than remove.

The trick is to not try and put one end into the springbar holes in the lugs - if you do that the bracelet won't fit on the other side. Get the springbar compressed between both lugs (not in the holes) and then just slowly move the bracelet towards the watch until the springbar snaps in on both sides. Because the Breitling bracelets are such a good fit to the case it's pretty easy to gauge where the springbar holes are.

Hardest part is to get the second end of the springbar between the lugs without the first end popping out and I usually just hold the first side of the bracelet and lugs between finger and thumb to stop them from moving relative to one another.

Thanks for the advice

Do you fit the end link from the front (dial side) of the watch , or the rear ( case back side ) ?

Always from beneath, you have to work from the back to get to the springbars anyway and if you try to do mount the bracelet from the front then not only are any scratches going to show, the lugs are in the way.
