Inspired by the other how-do-you-clean-thread I'm asking you: How do you clean your rubber straps?
So far I've been cleaning my Diver Pro II rubber bracelet with lukewarm water, mild soap and a soft toothbrush.

Sounds fine to me. I do the same for PU or rubber straps, as they tend to get a little grubby with arm cheese, etc. If the dirt is ingrained I like to soak the strap in water for a while. If you use a tooth brush (preferably not your own) then make sure it has soft bristles. Even rubber and PU can be scored by stiff bristles and may take on a dull appearance after cleaning.

Some of the proprietary car vinyl enhancers (armoral in Australia) are good for restoring a shine to dull materials, so this might work on rubber straps too.

I'd say that rubber is the most resilient material/surface used in regards to Breitling. Second best, being brushed stainless steel. An old tooth brush with some dish soap under warm water is great. I've been doing it for two years, regularly, with my Pro II strap and it still looks new.
