Looking to buy an Ocean Racer strap on deployant, can anyone tell me what they're like in the summer.

When I had my DP2 strap, the sweat build up was quite bad and with the Super Avenger being top heavy, the strap would just slide around on my wrist (which I found irritating).

Hoping that the Ocean Racer may fair better since it has holes allowing the skin to breath and also because the inside of the straps appears to have ridges whereas the DP2 was just plain smooth.

Also, what is the best knife to use to size these straps?

My OR strap was fine in the Florida summer. I found the stainless bracelet (Pro 2) to be a little more comfortable actually but the OR was more than usable. I used kitchen scissors to cut the straps, they were much more effective than the pocket knives I was trying to use. Just be sure to measure twice and cut once.

I don't use my rubber strap for my airwolf in the hot weather, I find a NATO more comfortable

I like my OR in the summer here in hot and humid Chicago. It's not going to be cool on your wrist due to the holes though. I read the advice here to cut one section at a time and try it on in between, a pain to do but extremely useful advice.
