ok, this might sound extremely stupid. but thats never stopped me before!! lol so im thinking about when i get my watch winder. it might be nice to have the white cotton gloves to keep the watch smudge free while your loading it up in the winder? or am i totally ocd? ![]() |

I use them occasionally when polishing or when I'm not wearing finger cotts when I am at the bench, but wouldn't bother you put a watch in a winder - it would get more marks in 2 minutes on the wrist. |

Every morning when I put a watch on, I take 15 seconds to moisten the corner of a mico-fiber cloth, wipe the crystal, lugs and bracelet, and wipe it dry. I don't consider it any different than cleaning my eye glasses in the morning. Now, donning white gloves just before retiring to place a watch on a winder and carefully setting aside said gloves.........I'm pretty sure that's how Howard Hughes started his downward spiral. Just sayin'. |
