My strap quest continues...

As I quite like a strap occasionally (stop sniggering at the back) I'm tempted to get a padded blue leather item to go with the blue-faced Seawolf Chrono.

Unfortunately, very occasional use doesn't translate into a willingness to spend a few hundred quid on a genuine strap.

So, I'm looking for a strap that's like the 105X with a tang. Note, I'm not looking for a fake Breitling strap, I'm looking for a good quality branded strap that due to a happy coincidence just happens to look very similar to the Breitling strap.

Ebay item 290724209255 (a blue BOB calf strap) looks about right at about £20 delivered. Would I be heading in the right direction? Happy to pay a little more to get something really nice.

I have two Bob straps (croc and shark) also have two Breitling straps (black calf and brown calf). While the Bob is fine considering the price, it is in no way near the quality of the Breitling straps. Not pushing you in one direction or another...just a point of information. If it were me and my only strap I'd probably get somethign nicer than the Bob for that fine watch. Love the SW, BTW.

How 'bout custom? http://www.stonecreekstraps.com/

Oh, I completely agree, but I know that the SW will spend the majority of it's life on the Pro II bracelet, so I'm not wanting to spend too much on the occasional-use strap. And I don't want to dig too deep into the not-yet-started Cosmo fund :)

Nice, but not as subtle as the Toshi IMHO. Probably should have mentioned UK too.

Oooooooo... strap porn....

shame the blue one's one of the thinnest as I quite like the chunky look on a chunky watch. Wonder if I ought to consider brown...

Sticking to the budget end, any thoughts on the Hirsch?
