Hi Guys,

Iv'e just purchased must first Breitling! Its a Navitimer Cosmonaute A22322 with the black face. Im going to post up some pics of it but just need to get my camera working.

I don't where my watch every day so I would like a winder for it. I've read a really good guide on this site about winders and i've checked the Orbita database and it recommends 650TPD.

Other than reading that guide I know nothing about winders so can someone recommend one that would work well with this watch? Maybe someone has a Cosmonaute and can recommend one from personal experience?

You don't need a particular winder for a given model, just look for the brands that you like and that suit your budget and then search here, chances are that you will find some opinions from some who have tried them.

I am very happy with Wolf Designs. I have three of theirs and they all work well. They are much cheaper than the Orbita winders too. What I would recommend before you make your purchase is to read up on your particular movement. Not all winders will do the job. You need to know the winding direction and winds required to keep your watch running. Once you have this info tben you can see which winder works best for you. Good luck!

I have a dual winder from Brook-stone and it runs great! I like the option of being able to set the Amount of rotations and direction.

I have several by Wolf Design, love em :!: I suggest the 2.7 model, it's fully adjustable from 300-1200 TPD and comes with a 2 year warranty--

In fact, they are having a 30% off sale as we speak--

Yeah, after checking out some prices, I've decided I like the price of my thumbs: free.

Yeah, I spend thousands (tens of thousands, in fact) of dollars on my time pieces. However, spending thousands (Obrita has one for $13k) on a winder? No thanks. I'd rather grab another Breitling or a Submariner (or TWO).
