Half steel half copper screw?
That is the weirdest thing I've ever heard. Every screw that I've ever taken out of a bracelet has been all steel.
Does not make sense to use copper for a screw thread as it's softer than steel. I'm sure that the link tubes are steel so the screw would strip easily if this statement was correct.
Plus, when copper corrodes, it turns green. Not brown.
I know that some metals can be plated for anti frictional or anti corrosion, but again, the use of copper eludes me. Maybe someone intends to use the bracelet to conduct electricity!
Indeed, hence my previous message. BS if you ask me... Bracelet is all steel, including screws. Half steel, half copper...
