I have read the winder FAQ posted by Roffensian, but I didn't see this addressed.

I just bought a new Superocean 42 Orange that I plan to use mainly for recreational diving.

Which means it will sit on my shelf when I'm not diving and I'm wearing a different Breitling.

So for several months at a time, is it better to keep it powered up with a winder, or totally powered down until I need to use it?

thanks.
