I got my Diver Pro III rubber strap some days ago and thought I'd share my impressions of it here.

When I saw the first pictures of the DP III here in the forums I thought the letters were too rough and standing out too much.And I was concerned that on small wrists like mine you would only be able to read "BREI".

Then I saw the DP III in person at Baselworld and instantly liked it. I have it on my Superocean Chrono II now. In real life, depending on the light conditions, the Breitling letters are not always visible at first sight. In bright light the lettering is definetly an eye catcher. In a not so light environment the lettering is barely visible and the DP III almost appears like a DP II strap. I like it best when the light falls in at a certain angle, throwing shadows of the lettering and thus bringing it's 3D-ness to bear.

As my wrist is quite small, the lettering is only visible as "BREITL" on the south side and as "BREITLI" on the north side of the watch. A very small drop of bitterness which is outweighted by far by the overall appearance.

would you mind posting some pics of this on your wrist? I just purchased a deployment and am between a Pro Diver II and this one? granted it is for an SA which will look a little different, but I still wanted to ask. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for sharing and posting your impressions. Looks great on your Superocean Chrono II.

I am always fascinated by the number of potential wearers being put off any Breitling strap with bold Breitling lettering, believing (with justification) that a goodish amount of the word Breitling may get obscured on smaller wrists. There are many posts here mentioning that specifically.

I am glad you decided to take the plunge (no pun intended) on the Diver Pro III as I think you are right about the amount of notice the lettering will get when strapped to your wrist. Especially if it’s in black or blue, as the lettering is very hard to see anyway. I hope those who are contemplating this strap take note of your encouraging words and do likewise by buying one. They are great.

If part f the word is obscured, then thats deliberate.

Great. I'd be interested in hearing how you decide which strap you "put" on the watch.

Does any one know what colours they are coming in this time?

Just black.....or black, blue, brown etc like diver pro 1 ?
