For those of you (like me) who like to try new straps, here are some of my new summer shoes.

Feel free to comment :D

This is my new Navitimer on a Python deployant strap courtesy of eBay. Strap is great looker and very supple. When worn, the scales become more visible as they curve around your wrist. The strap colour is listed as Whiskey.

Next up is my Emergency on a blue shark deployant courtesy of eBay. Never realised shark was so supple. Wears very well even when first put on.

Finally here is my Evolution on an Alligator Hornback, courtesy of Zerglin. Looks the business, tho was a real pain to put on. The strap came with tubes pre fitted (I believe Panerai style) which I had to remove to fit the standard 22mm pins. Very solid strap that curves well when first worn. Using the supplied Zerglin buckle at the moment, may try a 22mm Breitling buckle at some point in the future.

Here are the trio together 8)

I've never been a massive fan of sharkskin straps, but the colour match to the dial of your Emergency works a treat. It seems to give it a slightly vintage look. I like it!

I like hornback straps, but I'm very picky about the watches it works on. AP's, Pannies.... and that's about it, so that one is probably my least favourite of new straps.

I'm a big fan of that snakeskin strap though! That one looks very similar to one that Panatime sell that I was considering for my Lum Tec. I'll be interested to hear what the durability of the scales are like over time.

Nice pick-ups!

Nice, very nice! I like the Python best looks great with the gold sub dials. I was working with a strap maker on an orange python for my Planet Ocean but they are all out of orange/black python. They suggested orange sea snake. I like it in pix, but still on the fence.

Thanks guys :D

The sharks almost a perfect match for the blue face of the Emergency, which I'm really pleased about, as the Breitling blue can be quite difficult to match.

I know what you mean about the hornback. I like it, but I'm not sure it wears well on the Evo. I will probably put the OEM brown croc on that.

The python is by far the winner for me. The match to the gold subs and bezel of the Navi is just great, and the colour of the strap changes depending on the light. It was also only $50 which is a bargain compared to the $550 of the OEM croc

Nice alternatives. The Emergency combo looks really awesome and it definitely is my favorite of the three.
