Hello, anyone got some pics of the new Breitling B50/B55 caliber createb by Breitling and Soprod ?
Can't find any pics :geek:

Want to see the evolution between the old SQ 78 and the manufacture version with BTE.

Regards.

I have never seen any photos official or otherwise of the B50/55 in house SQ calibers. Soprod did have involvement in the development of these movements and also play an instrumental part in the development of the low energy Bluetooth chip used in the B55.

Some say these movements are loosely based on existing ETA calibers but I have never seen any literature that proves or disproves this.

Personally I don't think these share anything with the old Breitling 78 movements. The new movements for example use fiber optics for the digital displays backlight, making them extremely bright and legible. The rechargeable battery was developed exclusively for this movement.

Rumor has it the B50/55 were more expensive to build and develop than the Breitling in house mechanical chronograph caliber, the B01.
