I've got this recurring problem with my M1.
The chrono minute hand won't reset to zero (I have to manually tweak it) and sometimes it skips recording minutes completely, staying parked at 12.

The watch is from circa 2003, so is quite vintage for a quartz.
Is this a serviceable problem or am I looking at needing a new movement?

Thanks

Mug's game trying to diagnose quartz problems as it could be mechanical or quartz related. It may simply be an indication of a need for servicing of the chrono gears, but Breitling are going to have to diagnose.

Hmm thought as much. Now I have 3 watches that need servicing.
God the cost of owning more than one watch is getting out of hand!

Ain't that the truth! A few services and you're not far off the price of another watch.

A service by Breilting will be fine.
I experienced the same problem in 2011 on the same Watch, An Avenger M1.
Breitling Service in France, Besançon changed the stop/start circuit and the reset circuit with newer ones. It cost to me 121€.
No problem since 2011.
