either way. water proof or not. there is no reason to dive with a few thousand dollar watch. go buy a 100 dollar watch that wont fail being its made for diving. thats my suggestion.

What purpose do "jewels" serve in a watch? I never did understand that :-(

I would quite like to know more about the history of watchmaking (who the big names where/are etc) and the history of the engineering, science and maths involved in the movements which I find astonishing. There may be articles like this in this Forum somewhere but I'm bugg***d if I can find them. Well you did ask Roff
