Hi sharkman, #13 - thats mine. Received a mail from Steinhart 1h ago, stating they will send it to me as soon as it has been returned from Asia. :) Ok, I hope at least it doesn't have sharkman engraved on the back - you had #13 before if I'm right, would really be surprised if the only confused the address, but we'll see.

@altair, #15 is going back to Steinhart tomorrow.

Now I'm really confused. I got a response to my email to Steinhart that said "??." that's it. Cat W I thought you received #12 engraved "Sharkman" but it appears you got #15, not my #12 engraved "Sharkman." Steinhart at least believes your #13 is in Asia! I'm going to accept shipment and if what is sent is wrong I will return it the next day. Because it appears no one really knows what #s went where. Last thing I want to do is return the correct watch.

Cat W. did you get #15 or #12?? If the one I get is #13 with no engraving, I'll send it back straight away. But our freinds at Steinhart are obviouly confused on what went where. So I better accept the shipment. If it's the wrong one and I incurr additional charges, so be it.

Cat W. please PM me your real name in case I have to return this - I want to give them your full name.

Well when I had #13 there wasn't an engraving, only after I switched to # 12 - if my memory is correct. Like I said - if you got #15, not #12 engraved "sharkman" and Steinhart says your # 13 was shipped to Asia, then no one really knows what is to arrive at my door step today. If it's wrong, I'll send it back and note it on this thread. But the confusion is such that no one really knows what is in the package to arrive today. So I'll accept it and if it's wrong I will post the LE# on it so we all KNOW for sure what was shipped to Phoenix. Then I'll return it fedex priority tomorrow at the latest.

Still trying to :)

Just received my watch this morning, #08 as ordered! Guess I was one of the lucky ones.
Looks to be in good order and is RUNNING :D . Strap order did not get communicated in time, received black leather, should be just fine though. Can always add straps to my collection as it is the same lug width as another watch.

Hope you guys get your shipments corrected soon, sounds like a merry-go-round, good luck.
Terry

Hi

LE #2 arrived and all in good order :D :D :D :D

The fact that I am 4000 miles away from home is not so good, and my wife seems to have decided that such a nice box is not needed for such a small watch.

Hope all you other guys get sorted out very soon.

Thanks for all your efforts Altair.

Ian.

Hi shark, PN sent.

I believe that the girl that answered my mail just don't know where it was sent and she said Asia because this sounds like "far-far-away". :) I replied to her that it is in the US now, and though she did answer to the mail she left this point out.
Again: I have #15 here and it is not engraved

And the answer is....I just received Cat W.'s #13, not engraved so back she goes!!

What no one seems to know is W(here)TF #12, engraved is.

This should be interesting.

Cat W. is willing to keep #15, I'm willling to keep #13 and buy #12 with the Sharkman engraving. According to the last list no one had reserved #15. Is anyone out there supposed to get #15??? If not, Cat W. and I are good. My understanding is there are still #s that have not been taken.

Seems I read a post by Altair that they were all spoken for, the vacant #'s here were offered elsewhere. IDK for sure though. I should have mine today, woohoo! Its just one plane ride away now. :cheer:

I got my No 9 earlier today engraved correctly, my name is even spelled correctly on the certificate (doesnt happen very often) and everything is in great working order.

A big thanks to Altair, you really worked hard for this and the result is really great. Im very happy to be wearing this watch.

But I also have to say im a just that little itty bitty bit disappointed about the dail not being sandwich......maybe we decided otherwise at the end at some thread that I must have missed. But I was expecting a sandwich dial, with it I would really have not wished anything else.

Great looking watch :cheer:

It's all worked out. The fellow with #15 will take a different #. Cat W will keep # 15. I will keep #13 with a german date wheel. I will pay for the errant #12 engraved Sharkman when someone at Steinhart can confirm they have it in their possesion. Simple really.

I think the watch is very nice, sandwich dial or not. It's hefty, great subs, nice red accents, really nive bracelet. And the lume is great too.
